We recognise that to succeed in most professions today computer literacy is almost as important as reading and writing. For many years we have been running a laptop program in our Middle and Senior Schools. We have installed a wireless network throughout Peninsula which allows students to log on to the School’s intranet from virtually anywhere on the campus. Students can often be seen checking their own network page during recess times for assignments and results.

Most of our students use their laptops on a daily basis and, in some cases, can only hand in their homework through the network. At Peninsula, laptops and computers are not a fad but a necessary tool to help face tomorrow.

To make sure the technology downtime doesn’t slow the work we have a centrally located dedicated computer Service Department for any technical mishaps.

The many achievements above confirm our belief in a strong, values-rich and balanced education. The Peninsula experience prepares our students for a lifetime of achievements, in whatever field they may excel.

The parents don’t miss out either! Peninsula is very conscious of its carbon footprint and we have taken steps to minimise waste and remain eco-friendly. The vast majority of promotional materials, such as this brochure, and stationery are printed on sustainable paper, made in eco friendly mills. Wherever possible we transmit information in digital format rather than hard copy.

We limit the amount of hard copy mail to parents and distribute vital information through a weekly online news sheet – 'Weekly Bulletin'.

This means that parents of Peninsula students must be able to go online at least once a week to check this valuable web page for information pertinent to their child!
