The
Peninsula
School
Adventure
“club”
is not
really a
club at
all -
all
members
of The
Peninsula
School
community
have the
opportunity
to join
in on
the
activities
offered.
There
are no
membership
fees or
forms to
fill in
–
students
of all
year
levels
and
their
families
are
invited
to
explore
their
potential
by
joining
us in
search
of
adventure.
There is
no set
schedule
of
events,
but
every
year we
offer at
least 2
overseas
expeditions
and
several
local
experiences.
Whether
it be
SCUBA
diving
in Fiji;
surfing
in The
Maldives;
snowsports
at Mt
Hotham
or
rock-climbing
at Mt
Arapiles,
these
activities
are
offered
to all.
These
trips
have a
true
sense of
‘community’
about
them, as
we often
have
many
families
joining
us year
after
year.
Destinations
of
previous
trips
include
Beqa
Island;
Raki
Raki;
Kadavu
and
Naigani
(in
Fiji);
and
Santo,
Hideaway
and Aore
Islands
in
Vanuatu.
Over the
years,
our
students
have
enjoyed
some
rather
unique
experiences
and we
are
proud of
offering
only the
highest
quality
trips
using
safe and
reputable
providers.
There is
a wealth
of
experience
on staff
at
Peninsula,
and the
school
offers a
breadth
of
opportunities
that few
could
match.
Trips
are
promoted
early in
the year
via the
Bulletin
and
various
school
publications
including
E-News
and
news@tps.
Information
is
available
on the
school’s
T drive
where
students
are able
to
download
brochures
and
permission
forms.
