Between
the
hours of
8.00am
and
9.00am
and
3.00pm
and
4.15pm a
one-way
traffic
system
operates
within
the
school
grounds.
Motor
vehicle
traffic
(other
than
buses)
travels
in a
clockwise
direction,
entering
the
School
only via
the
Wooralla
Drive
gateway
adjacent
to the
Junior
School
Swimming
Pool.
The main
driveway
exit to
Wooralla
Drive
(via
Gate 1)
is
blocked
to cars
during
the
afternoon,
from
3.30pm
to
3.55pm,
to
facilitate
the
departure
of the
increased
number
of buses
which
arrive,
load and
depart
at this
time.
The
alternative
exit
route at
this
time is
via the
driveway
which
runs
past the
Perry
Building,
the
Senior
School
Centre
and the
Reilly
Oval to
Gate 7
on
Nepean
Highway.
When
using
this
exit,
all care
must be
taken.
The exit
faces a
rise in
Nepean
Highway
and is
partly
concealed
from
traffic
proceeding
towards
Mornington.
The
Junior
School
staff
parking
area
(off
Wooralla
Drive)
may be
used as
a
pick-up
and
delivery
point
for Year
3 to 5
students
only,
but not
as a
parking
area for
parents.
Parking
and
student
drop is
provided
in the
car
parks on
Wooralla
Drive.
These
spaces
are
generally
for
parents
of
students
in
Kindergarten
to Year
6.
Additional
parking
exists
in front
of the
Pavilion
for
parents
of
children
in
Kindergarten
to Year
1.
Drivers
should
follow
the
restrictions
indicated
on the
signs.
Students
from
Years 7
to 9
should
be set
down and
picked
up in
the car
park
adjacent
to the
School
Chapel
and
students
from
Year 10
- 12 in
the
Senior
School
Centre
parking
area
outside
the T
Block.
These
areas
are No
Parking
from
9.00am-3.00pm
as they
are used
as
playgrounds
by the
students
during
these
times.
Stopping
in front
of the
Administration
Building
or along
internal
school
roads is
very
dangerous
and is
not
permitted
at any
time.
The
turning
area for
buses is
very
restricted
and
unauthorised
vehicles
in this
area
constitute
a
further
hazard.
It
should
also be
stressed
that
students
should
not
leave
and
enter
cars on
the far
(beach)
side of
Nepean
Highway.
Crossing
the
Highway
on foot
(other
than via
the
pedestrian
bridge)
is
extremely
dangerous.
